The Branch Accountant is responsible for the financial operations of a company's branch office. This includes preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing cash flow, preparing budgets and offering support on all administrative and clerical works at the Branch. The Branch Accountant also plays a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The working station for this role is Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Branch Accountant will be required to work as per East Africa Foods Ltd working conditions in terms of working hours and days and when necessary, employees may be required to work beyond working hours.

Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in accounting/Finance or related field
2+ years in Finance/Accounting or related field experience
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Proficient in relevant computer software
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Ability to prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
Experience in reconciling accounts (sales, payable, receivable, bank)
Strong cash flow management skills
Excellent written and oral command in Kiswahili and English
Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
