The Accounts Payable Officer plays a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations by ensuring timely vendor payments, maintaining accurate data, and cultivating positive relationships with suppliers. This position involves comprehensive tasks such as processing pay runs, generating financial reports, conducting reconciliations, and acting as the primary point of contact for debtors regarding payment inquiries. Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in accounting/Finance or related field
2+ years in Finance/Accounting or related field experience
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Proficient in relevant computer software
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Experience in processing and verifying invoices
Ability to review and schedule payments to vendors
Strong skills in accounts payable reconciliation and record maintenance
Excellent written and oral command in Kiswahili and English
Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
