SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN @ EA ELECTRICAL POWER SOLUTIONS LTD (EAPS)
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join our expert team in Tarime. This role is critical for the execution of high-level electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated power systems. The Senior Technician will serve as a technical lead on-site, mentor junior staff, and ensure that all electrical works are carried out to the highest quality and safety standards required by the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with HV/LV systems and underground power distribution. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to identify system vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. Your expertise in electrical protection and switching will be vital for the operational continuity of our clients' facilities in Tanzania. This is a hands-on role requiring technical precision and a proactive approach to safety.

Key Requirements
Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate in Electrical Works.
Extensive experience in heavy industry or mining electrical maintenance.
Expertise in HV/LV power distribution and protection systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
Advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment.
Commitment to a zero-harm safety culture and strict adherence to HSE standards.
Experience with HV switching operations and permit-to-work systems.
Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and assistants.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Valid certification in OSHA or relevant safety standards.
