We are looking for a Protection & Relay Engineer to manage and optimize protection systems for our power infrastructure in Tarime. Your role will involve designing, configuring, and testing protection relays to ensure the stability and safety of the electrical network. You will collaborate with maintenance teams to investigate system faults and implement corrective measures.
The position requires a high level of technical expertise in power systems and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of electrical assets. You will be expected to prepare detailed technical reports and provide training to junior staff on protection methodologies. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Expertise in protection system design and coordination.
Experience with relay programming and testing software.
Familiarity with SEL, GE, or Siemens protection relays.
Strong analytical skills for fault analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of power system stability and control.
Ability to perform short circuit studies.
Understanding of communication protocols like IEC 61850.
At least 5 years of experience in power systems engineering.
Strong problem-solving abilities in field environments.
