POWER QUALITY / SVG SPECIALIST @ EA ELECTRICAL POWER SOLUTIONS LTD (EAPS)
As a Power Quality / SVG Specialist at EA Electrical Power Solutions Ltd (EAPS), you will focus on improving the efficiency and reliability of electrical networks in Tarime. You will be tasked with identifying power quality issues such as harmonics, flicker, and voltage sags, and implementing solutions using SVG and other advanced technologies. Your work will help reduce energy losses and protect sensitive equipment.
This role requires a blend of field work and technical analysis. You will design compensation systems and oversee their installation and commissioning. By ensuring high power quality, you will play a key role in the sustainability and performance of our clients' electrical systems. Key Requirements
Expertise in Power Quality analysis and mitigation strategies.
Experience with Static Var Generators (SVG) and Active Harmonic Filters.
Proficiency in power quality monitoring software and hardware.
Ability to conduct load flow and harmonic analysis studies.
Strong background in power electronics and control systems.
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting SVG units.
Knowledge of IEEE and IEC power quality standards.
Analytical mindset for interpreting complex waveforms and data.
Effective communication skills for explaining technical issues to clients.
