ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN @ EA ELECTRICAL POWER SOLUTIONS LTD (EAPS)
EA Electrical Power Solutions Ltd is hiring an Electrical Technician to support our operations in Tarime, Tanzania. This role involves the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical components within industrial and mining facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical machinery and systems operate at peak efficiency while following all company and national safety regulations.
The role requires a technician who is comfortable working in challenging environments, including underground and heavy industrial sites. You will perform diagnostics, replace faulty components, and assist in the installation of new electrical infrastructure. Collaboration with the wider engineering team is essential to meet project deadlines and maintain the high service standards that EAPS is known for in the power solutions sector.

Key Requirements
Relevant technical qualification or vocational trade certificate.
Prior experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or mining context.
Solid understanding of HV/LV systems and electrical safety protocols.
Ability to use specialized electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Hands-on experience with motor controls, wiring, and power distribution.
Commitment to following safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow technical instructions.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding industrial conditions.
Willingness to undergo additional training in HV switching and OSHA standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
