ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN @ EA ELECTRICAL POWER SOLUTIONS LTD (EAPS)
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Electrical Technician to support our technical team in Tarime. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to gain hands-on experience in the mining and heavy industrial sectors. You will assist senior technicians and supervisors with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems, ensuring that work areas are safe and equipment is well-maintained.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn and will participate in on-the-job training related to HV/LV systems and safety procedures. Your primary duties will include tool preparation, site cleanup, and assisting in basic electrical tasks under direct supervision. This role is fundamental to the efficiency of our field operations in Tanzania, providing essential support to the core engineering team.

Key Requirements
Basic technical qualification or currently pursuing a trade certificate in Electrical Engineering.
A strong interest in pursuing a career in mining or heavy industry electrical maintenance.
Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool handling.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently.
Willingness to work in diverse environments, including underground sites.
