SENIOR IDENTITY & AUTHORIZATION ENGINEER @ E-SOLUTIONSINC
This Senior Identity & Authorization Engineer role is a hands-on position focused on leading the design and implementation of a Zanzibar-based authorization system. You will be responsible for building a robust Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) system from scratch for a complex, multi-tenant B2B marketplace. The position requires significant technical expertise in Go and cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS EKS and Terraform. Beyond development, you will also be responsible for creating Kafka-based ingestion pipelines and leading the migration from legacy authentication systems to modern, scalable solutions.
The role requires a high degree of overlap with US-EST business hours (at least 6 hours) to ensure effective collaboration with global teams. You will work with technologies like PostgreSQL and Datadog to ensure the system is both performant and observable. This is a senior-level role that combines deep technical execution with strategic architecture, requiring a strong background in security and identity management. You will serve as the technical lead for all things related to authorization and access control within the organization's cloud environment.

Key Requirements
Expertise in building Zanzibar-based ReBAC (SpiceDB / OpenFGA) from scratch.
Advanced proficiency in Golang for backend service development.
Significant production experience with AWS and Amazon EKS management.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL for database design and management.
Practical experience with Datadog for observability and monitoring.
Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
Ability to design and deploy ReBAC for complex multi-tenant systems.
Experience building Go-based authentication services and middleware.
Hands-on experience creating Kafka-based data ingestion pipelines.
Proven track record of leading migrations from legacy auth systems.
Ability to work at least 6 hours of overlap with US-EST business hours.
