SENIOR IDENTITY & AUTHORIZATION ENGINEER (GO | AWS | REBAC) @ E-SOLUTIONS INC
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Identity & Authorization Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a Zanzibar-based authorization system for a complex, multi-tenant B2B marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for building a robust Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) system from the ground up using technologies like SpiceDB or OpenFGA. You will work extensively with Golang, AWS, and Terraform to ensure a scalable and secure infrastructure.
The successful candidate will design and deploy multi-tenant systems, build Go-based authentication services and middleware, and create efficient Kafka-based ingestion pipelines. Additionally, you will play a critical role in leading the migration from legacy authentication systems to modern architectures. This is a global remote position requiring at least 6 hours of overlap with US-EST working hours to ensure effective collaboration with the wider engineering team.

Key Requirements
Expertise in building Zanzibar-based Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) from scratch.
Advanced proficiency in Golang for building high-performance backend services.
Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Deep technical knowledge of SpiceDB or OpenFGA frameworks.
Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL for relational database management.
Professional experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog.
Comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and principles.
Proven ability to design and deploy complex multi-tenant systems.
Experience creating Kafka-based ingestion pipelines for data-driven applications.
Ability to lead and execute complex migrations from legacy authentication systems.
Capability to work remotely with a minimum of 6 hours overlap with US-EST.
