DSS Destiny is seeking experienced and reliable Drivers to join our professional transport team based in Durban. The role involves operating heavy vehicles for both local and cross-border logistics operations, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. Successful candidates will be responsible for navigating Linehaul and Superlink routes while adhering to strict safety protocols and delivery timelines. This role is ideal for those who possess a strong work ethic and are capable of managing the unique challenges of long-distance hauling. Candidates will be expected to maintain the highest standards of vehicle care and professionalism while representing the company across various regions. The position offers a basic salary plus a per-kilometre rate, providing a performance-based incentive for dedicated drivers. Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience.
Essential experience in Linehaul and Superlink operations.
Proficiency in both local and cross-border driving across Southern Africa.
Valid South African driver’s licence.
Valid EC driver’s licence (Code 14) for heavy vehicles.
A clear criminal record with no previous convictions.
Maintain sober habits and a high level of professionalism at all times.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and transport laws.
Proven track record of reliability and commitment to safety.
Ability to manage long hours and navigate complex routes independently.
Basic mechanical knowledge for conducting pre-trip inspections.
