A reputable footwear company is currently hiring several dedicated Field Sales Representatives to expand its presence across the Nairobi region. This role is specifically designed for proactive individuals who thrive in a fast-paced field environment. The core responsibility involves daily visits to assigned routes, including wholesale markets, retail shops, and kiosks, to promote and sell a variety of footwear products. By opening new accounts and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers, you will play a vital role in achieving sales targets and enhancing the brand's visibility in competitive market spaces.

In addition to direct sales, candidates will be tasked with monitoring stock levels and ensuring that product displays at customer outlets are attractive and well-organized. Collecting and reporting market intelligence regarding competitors and popular trends is a key part of the feedback loop. The position requires frequent travel across various subregions of Nairobi, such as the CBD, Eastleigh, Gikomba, and Ngara. Successful candidates will enjoy a negotiable basic salary supplemented by performance-based commissions, along with specialized product training and opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Requirements

Applicants must be between 22 and 38 years old. Must be physically fit and capable of performing full-time field work involving frequent walking. Previous experience in sales, particularly in footwear, fashion, or FMCG, is highly preferred. Deep knowledge of Nairobi’s major markets like CBD, Eastleigh, Gikomba, and Ngara is essential. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to handle diverse clientele. Ability to work independently and remain productive under high-pressure environments. High proficiency in using smartphones for GPS navigation, order placement, and photographic reporting. Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a self-motivated professional attitude. Strong target-driven orientation with a focus on achieving monthly sales goals. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Kiswahili or Chinese is considered a significant advantage.
