CH ENG. DPM @ DP SHIP
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer DPM to oversee the technical department of our AHTS DP-2 vessel in Dubai. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all machinery on board, including the DP-2 power management systems and propulsion units. This is a critical role that ensures the vessel's technical reliability during offshore operations. The position follows a 3-month on and 3-month off rotation with a start date of May 10, 2026.
The day rate for this position is negotiable. The work environment is professional and demanding, requiring a deep understanding of marine engineering and dynamic positioning maintenance. Key Requirements
Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
Dynamic Positioning Maintenance (DPM) certification.
Extensive technical experience on AHTS DP-2 vessels.
Thorough knowledge of diesel-electric and mechanical propulsion.
Valid STCW certifications including Advanced Firefighting and First Aid.
Current offshore medical certificate (ENG1).
Documented sea service in a senior engineering rank.
Familiarity with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
Ability to manage engine room personnel and technical stores.
Expertise in troubleshooting DP power management systems.
Valid BOSIET/FOET training certificate.
