The Doris Mollel Foundation is seeking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/ESIA) Technical Expert. The primary focus of this role is to conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments and oversee the monitoring of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) for healthcare and institutional construction projects. The expert will ensure all project activities align with both national environmental regulations and international donor safeguards.
Candidates will be responsible for navigating the NEMC certification workflow, leading stakeholder consultations, and developing robust mitigation plans for potential environmental risks. This role requires a professional who is deeply familiar with standard reporting procedures and can ensure the foundation maintains compliance with environmental governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements
NEMC-registered environmental expert or firm in good standing
5+ years of experience conducting ESIAs
Experience monitoring ESMPs for healthcare or institutional construction
Proficiency in NEMC certification workflows
Strong ability to conduct stakeholder consultations
Experience in developing environmental mitigation plans
Knowledge of donor safeguards such as World Bank ESF or IFC standards
Ability to manage project documentation and regulatory filings
Analytical skills for environmental site assessments
Strong professional communication and reporting skills
