The Doris Mollel Foundation (DMF) is seeking an experienced Architect or Landscape Architect to lead the design and construction of healthcare and institutional facilities. This role involves overseeing projects from the initial concept stage through to final completion, ensuring that all clinical spaces meet high standards of infection control and functionality for maternity and newborn units.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed working drawings, developing comprehensive tender documentation, and ensuring strict adherence to national design standards. Expertise in site planning, stormwater management, and sustainable design practices is highly valued as we aim to improve healthcare infrastructure across Tanzania.

Key Requirements
AQRB-registered architect or firm in good standing
5+ years of experience in healthcare or institutional facilities design
Proficiency in clinical space planning and infection control
Experience in creating working drawings and tender documentation
Knowledge of national building and design standards
Strong project management skills for end-to-end delivery
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Familiarity with landscape architecture and site planning
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Capacity to lead complex construction projects under pressure
