Djembe Consultants is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their award-winning communications team. This role is designed for a dedicated public relations specialist with a proven background in the communications sector. The successful candidate will support Account Managers and the wider team by identifying, developing, and executing effective PR strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring added value to the agency-client relationship.
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for executing day-to-day public relations activities to the highest standards. This position involves proactive management of client programs, development of strategic communication plans, and insightful research to drive successful campaigns. You will utilize both traditional and digital media platforms to maximize PR opportunities and maintain consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements
2-5 years of prior experience in a Communications/PR role
Experience in a PR Consultancy with client servicing exposure
University degree in marketing, communications, or international relations
High proficiency in the English language (written and oral)
Ability to think strategically with excellent organizational skills
Capability to manage multiple and changing priorities
Innovative and creative thinking approach
Interest in regional and international travel
Strong problem-solving and proactive decision-making abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
