FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (MINING | FMCG | REAL ESTATE) @ DIVYA KARMAA
We are seeking a highly qualified Financial Controller to lead the financial operations for our interests in Zambia, covering the Mining, FMCG, and Real Estate sectors. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You will provide strategic financial guidance to the management team and ensure that all operations are compliant with Zambian laws and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Working in Zambia, you will be tasked with managing financial risks, optimizing tax strategies, and leading the annual audit process. The role requires a professional who can handle the diverse accounting needs of multiple industries simultaneously. Key Requirements
Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA is mandatory.
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in financial management.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller in Mining, FMCG, or Real Estate.
Expert knowledge of IFRS and Zambian corporate taxation laws.
Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting.
Proficiency in advanced financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse finance team.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Experience in managing internal and external audits for large corporations.
Willingness to reside and work in Zambia on a full-time basis.
