FIELD OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ DISABILITY RELIEF SERVICES TANZANIA (DRST)
Disability Relief Services Tanzania (DRST) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Field Officer to support the implementation of the Youth Entrepreneurship for the Future of Food and Agriculture (YEFFA) project in the Kigoma Region. This role is pivotal in empowering youth and persons with disabilities by providing them with the necessary skills and resources to succeed in modern agribusiness.
The successful candidate will work directly at the community level, acting as the primary point of contact for project beneficiaries. Responsibilities include mobilizing participants, facilitating training sessions, providing ongoing business coaching, and strengthening linkages between youth entrepreneurs and local agricultural markets. The Field Officer will also coordinate closely with Local Government Authorities and community stakeholders to ensure that all project activities are inclusive, gender-sensitive, and effectively monitored.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension, Development Studies, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in mobilizing community beneficiaries and facilitating group learning.
Solid understanding of climate-smart agriculture and sustainable food systems.
Proficiency in using digital data collection platforms such as Kobo Toolbox or ODK.
Strong report writing skills and the ability to document success stories.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Experience working with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) or inclusive programs.
Ability to integrate safeguarding, disability inclusion, and gender equality principles.
Strong coordination skills for working with Local Government Authorities.
Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by project management.
