EDTECH SENIOR DEVELOPER/TECHNICAL CONSULTANT @ DIGNITAS
Dignitas is looking for a Senior Software Developer/Technical Consultant to drive the development and enhancement of their EdTech digital learning platform. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in empowering over 11,000 educators across Kenya by improving the platform's overall performance, reliability, and security. A core focus of this role involves developing and maintaining offline-ready learning functionalities, ensuring that educators in low-resourced communities have consistent access to high-quality educational resources regardless of internet connectivity.

Key Requirements
Extensive experience in full-stack software development and architecture design.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining EdTech or digital learning platforms.
Demonstrated experience implementing offline-ready learning functionalities and synchronization.
Strong knowledge of web application security best practices and data protection.
Proficiency in performance optimization and ensuring system reliability under low bandwidth.
Experience with cross-platform development tailored for low-resourced environments.
Ability to provide technical consultancy and strategic technology roadmapping.
Previous experience working with NGOs or education-focused organizations in Kenya.
Advanced proficiency in modern programming languages and framework stacks.
Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with scalable cloud infrastructure.
