Dicetek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to join their dedicated data management team located in Dubai. This role is fundamental to the organization's success, ensuring smooth and professional operations by maintaining high-quality enterprise data integration processes and complex ETL pipelines. The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development and optimization of complex ETL pipelines, utilizing advanced tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and PowerExchange across various platforms to meet business needs. In addition to technical execution, the role involves proactive monitoring of database performance and the implementation of troubleshooting improvements to maintain system integrity.
In addition to ETL development, the role involves advanced database programming and data modeling. You will write and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data transformation, alongside Unix or Linux scripts designed to automate backend processes. You will also be tasked with creating robust data models using industry-standard tools like Erwin or Visio. This position offers a competitive annual salary between AED 180,000 and AED 220,000, along with a clear growth trajectory into senior engineering or architectural roles supported by company-funded training and certifications for Informatica and Oracle systems.

Key Requirements
4–7+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica tools and ETL development.
Strong proficiency in SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server).
Solid knowledge of Data Modeling concepts and Unix/Linux scripting for automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and PowerExchange.
Ability to design and optimize complex ETL processes across multiple platforms.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining robust data models using Erwin or Visio.
Proven experience in monitoring database performance and implementing troubleshooting improvements.
Strong understanding of enterprise data integration processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for backend process automation.
