MANAGER – PROCUREMENT @ DIAMOND TRUST BANK (DTB)
The Manager – Procurement at Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) is a critical role responsible for ensuring efficient procurement support to business operations while maintaining strict compliance with procurement procedures and outsourcing policies. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Procurement & Property Services and will lead the end-to-end procurement process, from the initiation of user requirements to the final contract award, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and financial goals.
The role involves managing the full Request for Proposal (RFP) process, conducting meticulous vendor due diligence, and facilitating competitive negotiations to secure high-quality goods and services. The Manager will also be expected to foster strong professional relationships with suppliers, monitor vendor performance through semiannual reviews, and handle all procurement-related queries from internal business units. This position is based in Tanzania, and the individual must ensure that all procurement activities remain within budget and comply with bank regulations.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in procurement or a relevant field.
Must be registered with the Procurement Board of Tanzania (PSPTB).
Proven expertise in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
Strong understanding of KYC compliance and outsourcing policies.
Ability to work systematically under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Proficiency in analyzing competitive quotations and evaluating technical specifications.
Advanced organizational and record-keeping skills.
Commitment to high-quality output and operational precision.
Professional certification in procurement is considered an added advantage.
