HEAD OF CARE+ ECOSYSTEM @ DEXME
DEXME is building trust infrastructure for device financing in emerging markets, specifically targeting regions where millions of customers finance smartphones but lack trust in traditional financial institutions. We are seeking a Head of Care+ Ecosystem to act as a founding-level operational leader. This role is not just about managing a warranty department; it is about building a comprehensive ecosystem of trust around devices, including replacement, refurbishment, anti-fraud measures, and full lifecycle management. You will be responsible for scaling the department from its initial two members to a senior team of eight or more within the first 18 months. This position is based at our Dubai HQ and requires frequent business travel to our operational countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, and Uganda. The ideal candidate will be a senior leader capable of building controllable operations and enforcing high discipline and standards in environments where paper processes and reality often differ. You must have a deep understanding of operational risks and the ability to manage people and complex logistics simultaneously. Key Requirements
Proven senior leadership experience in after-sales or service operations management.
Expertise in building and scaling operational departments from the ground up.
Deep knowledge of emerging markets, specifically in Africa or similar complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce strict operational discipline and standards.
Strong background in identifying and solving systemic fraud and operational risks.
Experience in device lifecycle management, including refurbishment and replacement systems.
Willingness to relocate to Dubai and travel frequently to operational countries.
Analytical mindset capable of bridging the gap between reporting and on-the-ground reality.
Founding-level leadership skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and teams.
Proficiency in asset financing or trust infrastructure for consumer technology.
