Devine Wealth HR Solution is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fiber Optic Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Tanzania. This role is pivotal in ensuring the excellence of our fiber optic network, focusing on technical precision and effective field leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing field teams across multiple locations, including Dar es Salaam and Dodoma, managing the installation, maintenance, and testing of critical fiber optic infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and network reliability. The supervisor will act as a primary point of contact for field operations and technical troubleshooting. The Fiber Optic Supervisor will lead daily field operations, including cable laying, splicing, termination, and OTDR testing. A key part of the role involves rapid fault response and service restoration within strict SLA timelines, coordinating closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and project teams on network rollout activities. In addition to technical tasks, the supervisor must ensure that all team activities adhere to quality, safety, and SHERQ compliance standards at all times. Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3 to 5 years of professional experience in fiber optic installation or maintenance
In-depth knowledge of fiber splicing, termination, and OTDR testing
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a field environment
Experience in managing rapid fault response and service restoration within SLA timelines
Strong understanding of quality, safety, and SHERQ compliance protocols
Ability to coordinate effectively with Network Operations Centers and project teams
Possession of Work at Height Certification is highly preferred
Possession of EWURA Certification is considered an added advantage
Ability to work effectively in various field locations including Dar es Salaam and Dodoma
