PROCUREMENT MANAGER (1 POSITION) @ DESAL HOLDINGS LIMITED
Desal Holdings Limited is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing team in Tanzania. This position oversees the purchasing processes to ensure the availability of products in our retail outlets across Pwani and Dar es Salaam. The salary for this management role is Tsh 950,000 per month. The ideal candidate will be adept at sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining supplier relationships.
You will be tasked with identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supply chain risks, and ensuring that all procured goods meet our quality standards. A strong background in the supermarket industry is preferred to ensure a deep understanding of product turnover and shelf-life requirements. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our competitive edge in the retail market through efficient procurement strategies.

Key Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement management.
Experience in the supermarket or retail industry.
Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers.
Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
Ability to manage complex supply chains effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Analytical mindset for cost-reduction strategies.
