Defreeh Logistics Company Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to join their professional team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company growth targets. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and maintaining robust relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term loyalty and business continuity.
In this role, the officer will work closely with the operations team to guarantee customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery. Key tasks involve preparing professional quotations and proposals, following up on leads to close business deals, and conducting market research to stay competitive in the logistics industry. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and capable of bringing in business immediately through an established network in the clearing and forwarding sector.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and marketing within the logistics, clearing, and forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the local and international logistics market.
Must possess an existing client base and a strong professional business network.
Proven ability to bring in new business immediately upon starting the role.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook for office administration.
A Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related professional field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
Capacity to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to meet company goals.
