LOAN OFFICER (FEMALE) @ DEFINITE-SOLUTIONS
Definite-solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced female Loan Officer on behalf of their client based in Dar es Salaam. The primary objective of this role is to grow and maintain a healthy loan portfolio within the Microfinance sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for soliciting, recruiting, and onboarding new clients while conducting thorough assessments to ensure they meet specific lending criteria. In addition to client recruitment, the Loan Officer will be tasked with monitoring the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and feedback. Preparation of accurate reports and ensuring compliance with both company policies and regulatory authorities are critical aspects of this position. The candidate must stay updated on Microfinance developments to better serve customer needs and contribute to the organization's overall success in a competitive market.
Key Requirements
Degree in Banking, Microfinance, or any other related field.
Solid understanding of Credit analysis and Microfinance operations.
2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Microfinance sector.
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
Strong sales and marketing skills to onboard new clients.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Familiarity with Microfinance operational systems.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
