WORKSHOP MANAGER – FLEET & HEAVY VEHICLES @ DCSPL
We are seeking a highly disciplined and performance-driven Workshop Manager to take full ownership of a fleet of approximately 70 vehicles in an international role based in Tanzania. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end workshop operations, ensuring maximum fleet uptime through the implementation of strict preventive maintenance systems and hands-on supervision of mechanics. This role demands high integrity and a strong ownership mindset to operate effectively within a high-discipline environment located in Arusha and Monduli.
The position involves enforcing workflow discipline, managing ERP job cards, and maintaining rigorous parts tracking and reporting systems. You will also be responsible for strong inventory control and the implementation of anti-theft measures to safeguard company assets. The compensation for this role is between USD 1,200 and 1,800 per month, supplemented by other expat benefits.

Key Requirements
5–12 years of experience in fleet workshop management.
Strong expertise in diesel diagnostics.
Specific experience working with Toyota 70 Series vehicles.
Proven ability to handle teams of mechanics and technicians.
Mandatory experience using ERP systems for maintenance tracking.
A Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
High integrity with a disciplined and ownership-focused mindset.
Ability to manage end-to-end workshop operations and fleet uptime.
Skill in implementing strict preventive maintenance systems.
Experience in enforcing workflow discipline and operational control.
Competence in managing job cards and inventory reporting.
Knowledge of anti-theft measures and inventory control.
