This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned finance professionals from the Steel Manufacturing Industry seeking international exposure as a Head of Accounts in Tanzania. The role involves overseeing plant accounting, manufacturing costing, inventory control, and comprehensive financial reporting for a leading steel plant. Candidates will be responsible for managing cash flow and providing detailed MIS reports to the executive team. The position offers a monthly salary ranging from USD 1,600 to 2,000, along with expat benefits including accommodation and air tickets. You will lead a dedicated team and ensure that all financial operations align with industry standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a mandatory background in the steel industry, specifically within rolling mills or iron and steel manufacturing units. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex financial data and drive the financial health of the plant through rigorous inventory control and cost management.
Key Requirements
Mandatory experience in the Steel Manufacturing Industry.
Proven expertise in Plant Accounting and manufacturing costing procedures.
Extensive knowledge of Inventory Control and management systems.
Strong background in Cash Flow management and MIS Reporting.
Demonstrated experience in leading and handling finance teams.
Experience working in Rolling Mills or Iron and Steel Manufacturing units.
Ability to relocate to Tanzania for an international expat opportunity.
Proficiency in advanced accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills for detailed financial performance reporting.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
