ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION) - HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY @ DAYS SPARKLE
Days Sparkle is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with specific experience in the hospitality industry to join our team in Lindi Mjini. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and maintaining compliance with all accounting standards and regulations relevant to the hospitality sector.
This position requires a thorough understanding of financial processes, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and month-end closing procedures. You will prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and provide financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making. We are looking for a professional who can contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of our hospitality operations.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, specifically within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or IFRS.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial record-keeping.
Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies.
Relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus.
