LOGISTICS AND FLEET MANAGER @ DAWA MKONONI
DAWA MKONONI is seeking a qualified Logistics and Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our distribution network based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring that deliveries are timely, efficient, and compliant with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong leader who can coordinate with internal departments to streamline supply chain processes and maintain high service levels. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our mission to provide accessible healthcare solutions through reliable distribution. You will oversee vehicle maintenance, routing schedules, and logistics personnel to ensure operational excellence across our network. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, where you will manage local distribution hubs and coordinate with external logistics partners.
Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in logistics and transport management
Bachelor degree in logistics and supply chain management
Minimum 3 years working experience in Logistics and transportation
Experience in pharmaceutical distributions is an added advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in fleet management software and tracking systems
Ability to lead and supervise logistics personnel effectively
Strong understanding of transport safety and regulatory compliance
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Excel
