Darwish Engineering Emirates L.L.C. is a premier main contracting company based in the United Arab Emirates, currently seeking a highly skilled Projects Engineer (Civil) to join its dynamic team. This role is specifically focused on bridge construction and large-scale infrastructure projects across the region. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring all works adhere to strict UAE engineering codes, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. The role is primarily based at the main office in Ajman, with project site visits as assigned.
The successful applicant will have at least 10 years of experience within the UAE or GCC infrastructure sector. Key duties involve the coordination of consultants and internal project teams, the review of technical drawings and method statements, and the generation of comprehensive progress reports. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 10 years of UAE or GCC experience specifically in bridge and infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to supervise and manage bridge construction and infrastructure works on-site.
Deep knowledge of UAE construction codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams effectively.
Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
Ability to monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of scheduled milestones.
Expertise in conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues on the ground.
Strong skills in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.
Current residence in the UAE is a mandatory requirement for applicants.
Familiarity with project planning tools and industry reporting systems.
