Dar Gymkhana Club is hiring a dedicated Human Resources Officer to manage our personnel and human resources functions at our Dar es Salaam location. The role includes overseeing recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, and ensuring full adherence to national labor laws. We are looking for an individual who can foster a positive work environment and support the continuous professional development of our diverse staff body.
The Human Resources Officer will maintain accurate employee records, assist in payroll administration, and handle employee relations and grievance matters. By working closely with management and staff, the HR Officer will help drive organizational culture and ensure that the club remains a leading equal opportunity employer in the region. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or equivalent.
Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Administrator, or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of Tanzania labor laws and employment regulations.
Experience with end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and MS Office tools.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff.
Ability to handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievances.
Experience in payroll administration and employee benefits management.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional discretion.
Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
