FINANCE MANAGER @ DAR ES SALAAM GYMKHANA CLUB
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club. This includes managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to the management team to ensure the long-term sustainability of the club's facilities and services. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with auditors, managing payroll processes, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the club's assets. As a key member of the management team, the Finance Manager will contribute to the club's growth by optimizing revenue streams from memberships and sports facilities.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification such as CPA or ACCA.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior accounting role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and Tanzanian accounting principles.
Proficiency in professional accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities to lead a finance department.
Experience in annual budgeting and multi-year financial forecasting.
Ability to prepare and present detailed financial reports for board review.
High level of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
