The Sales Executive at D-LIP Afrifoods Limited is a strategic role focused on driving business growth and expanding the company's market footprint in Epe, Lagos, and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, onboarding wholesalers and distributors, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales targets. This position requires active field prospecting and a hands-on approach to account management, ensuring that all clients receive professional service and that the brand remains competitive within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

Beyond direct sales, the role involves gathering critical market intelligence and monitoring competitor pricing trends to inform the leadership team's strategic decisions. The Sales Executive must also manage the financial health of their accounts, which includes ensuring all sales are paid according to company credit policies and following up on outstanding receivables. By collaborating closely with production and logistics teams, the executive ensures that product availability matches customer demand, providing a seamless and reliable supply chain experience for all partners. This is a full-time position ideal for a results-oriented professional with deep knowledge of the local Lagos market.

Key Requirements

OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG or food industry. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for sales tracking, Word for reports, PowerPoint for presentations). Excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation. Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. Strong knowledge of the Lagos/Epe market and surrounding regions. Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive pricing and customer data. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets. Capacity to prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly sales activity reports and client visit logs.
