SOCIOLOGIST @ CPCL COMPANY
CPCL Company is seeking a Sociologist for the Dodoma Inner Ring Road Project under the TACTICS Programme. The role is critical for managing social safeguards and community engagement throughout the construction phase of this infrastructure development.
The appointee will be responsible for assessing social impacts, managing stakeholder relations, and ensuring that community needs are addressed in alignment with the project's social management framework. The position is for a duration of 3 years.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Sociology or related social science
At least 10 years of cumulative professional experience
Minimum of 2 similar infrastructure projects within the last 5 years
Prior experience with World Bank projects preferred
Strong technical competence in social research methods
Ability to facilitate community meetings and stakeholder consultations
Knowledge of involuntary resettlement frameworks
Expertise in socio-economic data collection and analysis
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
