Consulting Engineers Group Ltd (CEG) is looking for a seasoned Business Specialist to join the Second Tanzania Intermodal & Rail Development Project (TIRP-2). This senior position requires an individual with extensive experience in rail business management consultancy and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain dynamics. The role focuses on driving business efficiency and implementing change management strategies to ensure project success. The Business Specialist will be responsible for advising on business process improvements, financial performance, and strategic growth within the railway project. They will lead change management initiatives to modernize operations and enhance the project's overall commercial viability. Working closely with diverse teams, the candidate will ensure that the business objectives of the TIRP-2 are met with the highest standards of professional excellence.
Key Requirements
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or Transport & Supply Chain
30+ years of experience in rail business management consultancy
Proven experience in Change Management of business processes
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills in infrastructure
Expertise in financial modeling and logistics optimization
Ability to lead organizational transformation in a railway context
Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and operations
Proficiency in managing complex international consultancy assignments
Advanced networking and interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the African rail industry
