ACCOUNTANT @ COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION IN TANZANIA (CCBRT)
The Accountant at CCBRT is tasked with maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the fiscal health of the hospital’s operations. Reporting to the Head of Hospital Finance, this individual is responsible for the full spectrum of accounting duties, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and the execution of monthly and annual closing procedures. The role requires a professional who can manage complex financial data with accuracy and integrity.
This position also plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s budgetary and audit requirements. By maintaining robust internal controls and ensuring compliance with both statutory and donor-specific regulations, the Accountant helps CCBRT continue its mission of providing essential healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be adept at using ERP systems to streamline financial processes and support data-driven decision-making within the finance department.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a financial or accounting role.
Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Solid understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and audit schedules.
Strong analytical skills for cash flow monitoring and budget tracking.
Capability to handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
Professional certification (CPA or ACCA) is considered a significant advantage.
Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly desired.
