MONITORING EVALUATION AND LEANING OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ COMMUNITY ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND LEGAL SUPPORT (CEELS)
Community Economic Empowerment and Legal Support (CEELS) is an organization dedicated to enhancing the socio-economic status and legal awareness of communities. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer to join their team in Sumbawanga. The successful candidate will play a critical role in tracking project progress, measuring impact, and ensuring that organizational goals are met with high standards of accountability. The role involves designing and implementing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and generating reports to inform decision-making processes.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Project Management, or a related social science field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within the NGO sector.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, or advanced Excel.
Strong understanding of M&E frameworks, including logic models and the Theory of Change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Demonstrated ability to design data collection tools, surveys, and focus group discussion guides.
Experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
High level of attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, timely, and high-quality reports.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Proven ability to work independently in field environments and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
