Codemantra is seeking a highly skilled Senior Copyeditor for Level 2 editing within Humanities and STEM disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and editing academic content to ensure the highest levels of accuracy, language clarity, and coherence. This role involves deep engagement with scholarly manuscripts and books, requiring a professional who can navigate complex academic language while maintaining the author's intent and adhering to strict style guidelines.

Key Requirements
Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in editing humanities and STEM content
Proven experience editing academic books and scholarly manuscripts
Strong familiarity with the AMA style guide
Strong familiarity with the APA style guide
Strong familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style
Strong familiarity with the MLA style guide
Flexibility to work in various shifts as required
Exceptional eye for detail and language accuracy
Ability to mentor and support junior editorial staff
Proficiency in ensuring document coherence and consistency
