CobraTech, a prominent member of the Cobra Group, is actively seeking a commercially driven Internal Technical Sales Executive to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a leading supplier of fluid handling, lubrication, and metering solutions, the company prides itself on combining premium international product ranges with deep technical expertise and local manufacturing capabilities. This role is central to driving business growth and requires a candidate who is technically sharp and commercially hungry to excel in the industrial sales landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively following up on sales opportunities, converting leads, and building strong, lasting relationships with customers. You will provide expert advice on technical solutions and identify strategic upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure the delivery of excellent customer outcomes while maintaining CobraTech's reputation for high-quality fluid handling and metering systems within the industrial sector.
Key Requirements
4+ years in internal technical sales, industrial sales, or business development.
Direct experience in fluid handling, lubrication systems, pumps, hose reels, or fuel transfer equipment.
Proven track record of sales growth and opportunity conversion.
Strong customer engagement skills and commercial acumen.
Ability to understand technical applications and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
Experience in proactively following up and converting sales leads.
Proficient in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within a technical product range.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long-term customer relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver optimal customer outcomes.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using CRM or sales tracking software.
