CHARTER DIVISION MANAGER @ COASTAL AVIATION
Coastal Aviation is Tanzania's premier aviation company, renowned for its pioneering scheduled flying safari concept across East Africa. Established in 1987, the company has grown into a leading regional airline connecting travelers to over 40 destinations including national parks, private airstrips, and remote locations. The company maintains a modern fleet consisting of Cessna Grand Caravan C208B and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, ensuring high safety and service standards across its regional routes. This role encompasses operations in major hubs including Dar es Salaam and Arusha, Tanzania. As the Charter Division Manager, you will lead the charter sales and operational coordination efforts to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, managing corporate aviation services, and coordinating specialized flights for luxury safaris, medical evacuations, and international conservation organizations. You will be expected to work independently to reach performance targets while ensuring excellent customer service delivery across all charter operations.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Aviation, or a related field
Proven experience in charter sales and charter operations within Tanzania
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and achieve performance targets
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of the aviation or tourism industry
Advanced understanding of international aviation safety standards
Strong analytical skills for monitoring sales performance
Ability to manage specialized flight logistics for high-profile clients
