ASSISTANT QUALITY ASSURANCE @ COAST CONCRETE POLES LIMITED
Coast Concrete Poles Limited, a subsidiary of the DERM Group, is looking for a proactive Assistant Quality Assurance Engineer to join their quality control department. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for testing and monitoring concrete materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards. The role focuses on the production of concrete poles, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes. Beyond routine inspections, the Assistant Quality Assurance Engineer will assist in performing laboratory tests, recording outcomes accurately, and supervising civil engineering-related works. They will also be tasked with monitoring the condition of equipment and participating in calibration activities to ensure measurement accuracy. This role provides a great platform for engineers to apply their knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis in a real-world production environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in quality control techniques and methodologies.
Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis or statistical methods.
Ability to perform and record laboratory tests accurately.
Strong understanding of concrete material properties and standards.
Capability to supervise civil engineering-related works on-site.
Experience with equipment maintenance and routine calibration procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to report findings to the quality control team.
