ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN @ CO ENGINEERING
We are hiring a highly skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our professional engineering consultancy team in our Abu Dhabi office. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the drafting process, independently preparing high-quality architectural drawings and comprehensive design documentation. This role requires a professional who ensures full compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and specific project standards, bridging the gap between conceptual design and technical execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed IFC (Issued for Construction) and IFT (Issued for Tender) drawing sets across various commercial and industrial projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including structural and MEP specialists, to integrate technical inputs and manage drawing revisions. This position demands a high level of precision, strong technical expertise in construction detailing, and the ability to navigate local authority submission processes effectively.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Abu Dhabi.
Proven experience in commercial and industrial projects.
Strong expertise in preparing IFC and IFT level drawings.
In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and submission processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting/design software.
Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and detailing.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise, high-quality drawings.
Strong coordination and communication skills within a consulting environment.
