TALLYING CLERK (10 POSITIONS) @ CMTL LOGISTICS LTD
CMTL Logistics Ltd is looking for 10 diligent and detail-oriented Tallying Clerks to join our operations in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam. This internship role is critical for managing the receipt and dispatch of commodities, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and reported. The successful candidates will be responsible for verifying cargo against shipping documents, inspecting goods for damage, and maintaining precise records to facilitate smooth warehouse operations. The primary work location is Bandari Street, Kurasini, Dar es Salaam.
In addition to documentation, the Tallying Clerks will be responsible for entering stock data into inventory systems and preparing detailed daily and weekly reports. Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in a warehouse, port, or general storekeeping role.
Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English/Swahili.
Physical ability to stand or walk in outdoor or warehouse environments during shifts.
Competence in entering stock data into electronic inventory systems accurately.
Knowledge of safety regulations and SHERQ procedures within a logistics setting.
