ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION) - TALLY ERP EXPERT @ CMG HOTELS LIMITED
CMG Hotels Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with expertise in Tally ERP to join our finance department. This critical role involves managing all financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using Tally ERP efficiently to handle general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory management. You will play a vital role in the financial health of the company, providing valuable insights and maintaining meticulous records. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses a strong ethical compass. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your specialized Tally ERP skills within a dynamic hospitality environment.The Accountant will be responsible for daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and revenue reporting. They will also assist with internal and external audits, ensure timely tax compliance, and contribute to budget preparation and monitoring. The ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders is essential. Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable but not mandatory, provided the Tally ERP expertise is robust.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a strong advantage.
Proven experience as an Accountant, specifically with strong proficiency in Tally ERP software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swahili and English.
Be honest, highly disciplined, and committed to accuracy and ethical financial practices.
Ability to work in a demanding hotel environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
Expertise in using Tally ERP for financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
Proficiency in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
