MAINFRAME CUSTOMER/1 (UTILITIES DOMAIN) CONSULTANT @ CLOUD INGEST
We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Customer/1 (CSS) Consultant to join our team for a remote contract position within the Utilities domain. This role requires a professional with deep expertise in Customer/1 Billing and Supplier Services to support and enhance our critical utility systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mainframe technologies and a proven track record of success in the utilities industry. The responsibilities include providing comprehensive production support, performing detailed troubleshooting, and utilizing technical skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS to ensure system stability and performance. This is a W2-only contract opportunity, offering the flexibility of a remote work arrangement while contributing to high-impact projects. Key Requirements
Extensive experience with Mainframe Customer/1 (CSS).
Strong background in the Utilities industry domain.
Proficiency in Mainframe Customer/1 Billing and Supplier Services.
Technical expertise in COBOL programming.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with JCL (Job Control Language).
Advanced knowledge of DB2 database management systems.
Proven experience working with CICS (Customer Information Control System).
Ability to provide strong production support and troubleshooting for complex systems.
Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
