Climate Hub Tanzania is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Finance & Resource Mobilization Officer to join their team at the headquarters in Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, tax compliance, and payroll management, while simultaneously driving strategic resource mobilization efforts to secure funding through grants and partnerships.
The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to senior management and the Board of Directors, ensuring financial sustainability and donor compliance across all project lifecycles. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3+ years of professional experience in financial management and fundraising
Proven experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and budgeting
Familiarity with donor compliance and grant lifecycle management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili
High ethical standards and attention to detail
Proven ability to conduct financial analysis and develop sustainability strategies
