PRIMARY MUSIC TEACHER @ CITY SCHOOL
We are looking for a creative Primary Music Teacher to inspire our students through the power of music. You will be responsible for teaching music theory, appreciation, and performance to primary school children. Your role includes organizing school performances, managing musical instruments, and encouraging students to explore their musical talents in a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will design a music curriculum that is both educational and engaging, incorporating various genres and cultural traditions. You will be an active member of the school's creative arts department, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects and school events. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music or Music Education.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
Equivalency certificate (as applicable).
Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar).
Experience in leading vocal or instrumental groups.
Ability to teach music theory and notation to primary students.
Strong classroom management skills.
Experience in planning and executing school musical events.
Knowledge of various musical styles and cultures.
Ability to integrate technology into music lessons.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
