GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER @ CHINA STATE CONSTRUCTION ME LLC
China State Construction ME LLC is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team for major infrastructure projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will focus on geotechnical design, specifically for deep excavation and earth retention systems. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of shoring solutions such as sheet piles, soldier piles, secant piles, and diaphragm walls. Your technical expertise will ensure that all temporary works and permanent structures meet the high engineering standards required for complex urban construction environments.
In addition to technical design, you will be expected to navigate the authority approval processes and maintain strict adherence to UAE construction safety standards. Candidates must be proficient in geotechnical and structural analysis software to perform complex calculations and modeling. Working within confined site conditions and urban settings, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project timelines and safety protocols are met. This role requires a professional with a strong background in civil engineering and valid registration with the Dubai Municipality.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical design, shoring, or temporary works for deep excavations.
Strong experience with sheet piles, soldier piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and other earth retention systems.
Proficiency in geotechnical and structural analysis software.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience with deep excavation projects, urban construction, or confined site conditions.
Familiarity with UAE construction safety standards and authority approval processes.
Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineer Registration.
Ability to perform soil-structure interaction analysis and slope stability assessments.
Proven track record of managing geotechnical site investigations and data interpretation.
