China Harbour Engineering Company is seeking two qualified Surveyors for the Multipurpose port project in Mangapwani, Zanzibar. This role involves precise measurement and mapping of the construction site, ensuring that all infrastructure is placed according to engineering specifications. The successful candidates will work closely with the civil engineering team to facilitate the development of port facilities in a marine environment.
The position requires local expertise and a deep understanding of Tanzanian surveying standards. The role is exclusively for Tanzanian nationals and will be based on-site in Mangapwani.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Land Surveying or Geomatics.
Proven experience in land surveying specifically for marine or port construction.
Proficiency in operating total stations, GPS, and leveling equipment.
Ability to read, interpret, and implement complex engineering drawings.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and specialized surveying software.
High level of precision in data collection, mapping, and reporting.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills for complex calculations.
Ability to work effectively in coastal and demanding marine environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Valid professional certification as a surveyor in Tanzania.
Must be a Tanzanian local individual.
Knowledge of local land laws and zoning regulations in Zanzibar.
