We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our port project in Zanzibar. The role requires overseeing various construction stages, from site preparation to structural completion, ensuring all work meets international quality and safety standards. Candidates should have a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects and be capable of managing technical challenges on-site effectively.
This role is crucial for the implementation of the Multipurpose port project in Mangapwani. As a local hire, you will bridge the gap between engineering designs and on-ground execution, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within technical specifications.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) Tanzania.
Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or port construction projects.
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Deep understanding of structural analysis and construction material properties.
Ability to oversee site operations and enforce strict quality control measures.
Strong project management, scheduling, and organizational skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and project documentation.
Advanced problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
Fluent in English and Swahili for effective communication.
Ability to lead and mentor junior site staff.
